ܦܘܠܘܣ ܘܣܠܘܢܘܣ ܘܛܝܡܬܐܘܣ ܠܥܕܬܐ ܕܬܣܠܘܢܝܩܝܐ ܕܒܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܘܢ ܘܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the assembly of the Thessalonians in God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ:

ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܘܫܠܡܐ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܘܢ ܘܡܢ ܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe mrn wmn 'bwn 'lh' mn wshlm' emkwn Tybwth'
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

ܠܡܘܕܝܘ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܚܝܒܝܢܢ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܐܚܝ ܐܝܟ ܡܐ ܕܘܠܐ ܕܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܪܒܝܐ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܟܘܢ ܘܣܓܐ ܚܘܒܐ ܕܟܠܟܘܢ ܕܟܠܢܫ ܠܘܬ ܚܒܪܗ
khbrh lwth dklnsh dklkwn khwb' wsg' hymnwthkwn rby' dythyr'yth dwl' m' 'yk 'khy elykwn khybynn bklzbn l'lh' lmwdyw
We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you towards one another abounds;

ܐܝܟ ܕܐܦ ܚܢܢ ܒܟܘܢ ܢܗܘܐ ܡܫܬܒܗܪܝܢ ܚܢܢ ܒܥܕܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܥܠ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܟܘܢ ܘܥܠ ܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܟܘܢ ܕܒܟܠܗ ܪܕܝܦܘܬܟܘܢ ܘܐܘܠܨܢܝܟܘܢ ܕܡܣܝܒܪܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ
'nthwn dmsybryn w'wltsnykwn rdypwthkwn dbklh msybrnwthkwn wel hymnwthkwn el d'lh' bedth' khnn mshthbhryn nhw' bkwn khnn d'p 'yk
so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of God for your perseverance and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.

ܠܬܚܘܝܬܐ ܕܕܝܢܐ ܟܐܢܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܕܬܫܘܘܢ ܠܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܗܝ ܕܥܠ ܐܦܝܗ ܚܫܝܬܘܢ
khshythwn 'pyh del hy lmlkwthh dthshwwn d'lh' k'n' ddyn' lthkhwyth'
This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that you may be counted worthy of God’s Kingdom, for which you also suffer.

ܘܐܢ ܟܐܢܐ ܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܢܦܪܘܥ ܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܠܐܠܘܨܝܟܘܢ
l'lwtsykwn 'wltsn' dnprwe 'lh' qdm k'n' w'n
Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,

ܘܠܟܘܢ ܕܡܬܐܠܨܝܬܘܢ ܢܚܐ ܥܡܢ ܒܓܠܝܢܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܥܡ ܚܝܠܐ ܕܡܠܐܟܘܗܝ
dml'kwhy khyl' em shmy' dmn mshykh' yshwe dmrn bglynh emn nkh' dmth'ltsythwn wlkwn
and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

ܡܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܬܒܥܬܐ ܒܓܘܙܠܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܡܢ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܝܕܥܘ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܘܡܢ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܐܫܬܘܕܥܘ ܠܣܒܪܬܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe dmrn lsbrthh 'shthwdew dl' hnwn wmn l'lh' ydew dl' hnwn mn dnwr' bgwzl' thbeth' debd m'
punishing those who don’t know God, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus,

ܕܗܢܘܢ ܒܕܝܢܐ ܢܬܦܪܥܘܢ ܐܒܕܢܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܡܢ ܦܪܨܘܦܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܘܡܢ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܕܚܝܠܗ
dkhylh shwbkh' wmn dmrn prtswph mn dlelm 'bdn' nthprewn bdyn' dhnwn
who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

ܡܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܕܢܫܬܒܚ ܒܩܕܝܫܘܗܝ ܘܢܚܘܐ ܬܕܡܪܬܗ ܒܡܗܝܡܢܘܗܝ ܕܬܬܗܝܡܢ ܣܗܕܘܬܢ ܕܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܒܗܘ ܝܘܡܐ
ywm' bhw delykwn shdwthn dththhymn bmhymnwhy thdmrthh wnkhw' bqdyshwhy dnshthbkh d'th' m'
when he comes in that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired among all those who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.

ܡܛܠܗܢܐ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܡܨܠܝܢܢ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܕܢܫܘܝܟܘܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܠܩܪܝܢܟܘܢ ܘܢܡܠܝܟܘܢ ܟܠܗ ܨܒܝܢܐ ܕܛܒܬܐ ܘܥܒܕܐ ܕܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܒܚܝܠܐ
bkhyl' dhymnwth' webd' dTbth' tsbyn' klh wnmlykwn lqrynkwn 'lh' dnshwykwn elykwn mtslynn bklzbn mTlhn'
To this end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith, with power;

ܕܢܫܬܒܚ ܒܟܘܢ ܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܦ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܒܗ ܐܝܟ ܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܢ ܘܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe wmrn d'lhn Tybwthh 'yk bh 'nthwn 'p mshykh' yshwe dmrn shmh bkwn dnshthbkh
that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
